Creative Projects

If not filmmaking, I’m almost always involving myself in another creative endeavor. Below are some examples of projects and processes I take part in. To view more work, please click the titles of the projects.

I’ve been a hobbyist knifemaker for the past eight years. In that time I’ve formed friendships with Forged In Fire winners, participated in fundraising events, auctions, art shows, as well as collaborated with brands. In 2024 I donated a set of knives for auction with the Pablo Ramirez Foundation, a foundation dedicated to the legacy of skateboarder Pablo Ramirez. I helped raise money for the Youth Art Exchange, an initiative that helps give the youth of San Francisco a chance to express themselves through art.

In 2024 I also participated in a collaboration with the skate shop FTC (For The City) and forged a set of blades for the San Francisco shop. This collaboration is still ongoing and is pending the 2026 drop.

While I’ve been editing for nearly as long as I can remember, most of my skillset is focused on editing small gaming montages and occasionally editing shorts for smaller YouTube channels and friends. While not much of a gamer myself I maintain relationships with the e-sports scene and have friends that play professionally in various games, including Valorant, Minecraft, and League.

I’m not much of a cinematographer, but I thoroughly enjoy film photography. I’m currently in the process of repairing a Minolta SRT 101 and also practice with disposable cameras.

Art

Despite my limited skillset, I enjoy sketching and painting occasionally. I find the process very cathartic and use it to help break creative blocks, especially when writing.
