Hey! My name is Gabriel, I’m a filmmaker, writer and director from the Southern California area. Writing and directing are my main passions while post-production is my most technical skillset. That being said I love any project where I can get my hands dirty, the more unconventional the better. I specialize in writing horror in observance of modern day social issues, minority groups and cultures. I also aim to portray modern groups of all ages, ethnicities and social backgrounds in authentic ways on the screen, blurring the line between fiction and reality and furthering suspension of disbelief in modern cinema. My ultimate goal is to bring stories to life with deep personal connection to the Asian American experience, an almost universally shared experience but one without the proper voice in the modern day cinematic landscape.
